Children in Kalamazoo Have Access to Quality Childcare that Meets their Emotional and Educational Needs
YWCA Kalamazoo focuses on improving the lives and well-being of children through providing innovative high-quality childcare and educational programs that support vulnerable children with trauma-informed racial and gender-justice curriculum.
Our classrooms are designed to feel like a hug. When the children are vulnerable, having come from chaos at home, we provide them with safety and security- sometimes the most trusted space in their day.
The Dreamery is committed to providing quality childcare at affordable prices so families can work outside the home while their children are safe, learning, and having fun.
YWCA Kalamazoo welcomes children ages 6 weeks through the year before they enter kindergarten. The Dreamery offers high-quality early learning experiences, childcare, and Great Start Readiness Programs. YWCA Kalamazoo houses two sites: Downtown Site (353 E Michigan Avenue), and Edison Site (1155 Portage Street).
YWCA Kalamazoo provides well-rounded programming that includes tuition assistance, transportation, and additional supports including homeless and low-income families.
