Women’s Equality Day Luncheon

This year marks 103 years since the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which gives citizens the right to vote regardless of their gender. This, however, did not address the barriers to voting access faced by black women and other women of color, the effects of which are still prevalent more than a century later.

Please join us for a luncheon featuring an intergenerational panel discussion on women’s voting rights through the lens of Black, Indigenous women and women of color, and how we move forward in the fight against systemic racial and gender inequities in civic engagement. Social justice activist Chelsea Miller will lead the conversation and will be accompanied by three additional panelists representing different age groups.

Event registration includes a complimentary meal and ticket to the luncheon program featuring lead panelist Chelsea Miller. $25.00
